Legend says that the human settlers of Materia made land at a place known as Bacam. Some believe it was near this place, which is why the port city founded here was called New Bacam. | Industries: New Bacam is primarily a trade port for Pittston. This has increased drastically with the introduction of the railway, which is also based here. There is also tourism here, due to the belief that the city is near the site of the original Bacam, and the presence of an offshore swimmer community which likes to visit the docks and trade gifts with visitors. Trading with a swimmer at New Bacam is seen as good luck and an activity looked well upon by Ruuk. |
