A somewhat unusual sauropod, Brachiosaurs have unproportionately long necks and small heads for such a large body. Equally unusual compared to Brontosaurus and Apatosaurus, their forelegs are longer than their hind legs leaving their neck reaching toward the sky and tree tops.
Brachiosaurs feed from the upper branches of trees, their body shape being very similar to giraffes. They are not very flexible despite their long necks, and need to lean their full body forward to drink from water sources.
These dinosaurs have their nostrils above their eyes near the top of their small head.
Research data on several of InGen’s species, including Brachiosaurus, was provided as part of a package agreement in exchange for helping capture their assets on Isla Nublar in preparation for Jurassic World construction in the early 2000s since SCGC has more experience in that field, therefor this species is named Nublarensis as other species of that origin. They are expected to have a lifespan of approximately 65 years.
