Sometimes compared with rams, Pachycephalosaurus are best known for their frequent dominance fights consisting of head to head impacts. Although listed as an herbivore, Pachys are truly omnivorous, occasionally eating small lizards, mice, and insects.

Standing shorter than the average human, their thick dome skull projection allows for very hard impact with minimal cranial damage. Taking a ramming to the chest from a full grown pachy can result in shattered ribs and collapsed lungs among other injuries (cite Brazil incident MW-WC-021, 1994. Non fatal injuries).

This species is usually bipedal, although they are known to lean on their forelegs to eat.
