Far to the south and long before a place called Berk learned to befriend dragons, a different tribe known as the Brutish learned to revere dragons. These vikings and dragons work together to better their world, while a world of hunters and enemies grows around them.

Decades before Stoick the Vast had even been named Chief of Berk, a tribe of vikings known as the Brutish learned to befriend dragons. They learned to earn their trust and favor, to use the dragons’ abilities to make a better life for all…they learned to become dragon riders!

Several years have passed since the High Chief of the Brutish tribe and his people in the city of Djull learned of a volcanic island chain inhabited by a colony of wild dragons. Fearing for these dragons’ lives, a village was founded on the island to help protect them against the growing hunter threat from the south.
